Chef Austin was born and raised in Forsyth, Ga and has more than 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He attended Johnson and Wales University in Charlotte, NC where he had the distinct opportunity to work at CafÈ Boulud, earn a Teaching Fellowship during his last year, and graduate with a bachelorís degree in Hospitality Management. After graduation, he began his professional career in Atlanta under Richard Blais, went on to work in Charleston, SC under Jason Stanhope, had the chance to work with Mike Lata at the James Beard Award winning FIG, and then at the Forbes 4 Star/AAA 4 Diamond Inn on the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. Chef Austin moved to Texas in 2019 to work for Apple as a Culinary Manager at their Texas headquarters. He holds certifications from The ACF, The Court of Master Sommeliers, and The WSET. Chef Austin brings a unique perspective to the role, having worked both front and back of house, and is excited to use those skills to help you and our customers make it!
