Sweet and Spicy Dill Pickle Slaw
Ingredients
- 2 lb. Cross Valley Farms® Coleslaw Mix
- 2 c Monarch® Creamy Coleslaw Dressing
- 1 c Metro Deli® Hot Kosher Dill Pickle Chips
- 1/4 c Metro Deli Hot Pickle Chip Juice
- 2 tbsp. Cross Valley Farms Fresh Baby Dill
Preparation
- Julienne the pickle strips so they are more "shredded," Mince 2 tbsp. of dill fronds.
- For the dressing, mix the 2 cups of coleslaw dressing with the 1/4 cup of hot pickle juice.
- In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, julienned pickles, dill and dressing.
- Let the mixture marinate for 30 minutes before service.
- This should be made fresh for each service so the cabbage stays crisp.
