Sweet and Spicy Dill Pickle Slaw

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Cross Valley Farms® Coleslaw Mix
  • 2 c Monarch® Creamy Coleslaw Dressing
  • 1 c Metro Deli® Hot Kosher Dill Pickle Chips
  • 1/4 c Metro Deli Hot Pickle Chip Juice
  • 2 tbsp. Cross Valley Farms Fresh Baby Dill

Preparation

  1. Julienne the pickle strips so they are more "shredded," Mince 2 tbsp. of dill fronds. 
  2. For the dressing, mix the 2 cups of coleslaw dressing with the 1/4 cup of hot pickle juice.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix, julienned pickles, dill and dressing.
  4. Let the mixture marinate for 30 minutes before service. 
  5. This should be made fresh for each service so the cabbage stays crisp.
