Fried Green Chickpeas
Ingredients
- 6 oz. Monarch® Green Chickpeas
- 3 T Monarch Corn Starch
- 1 tsp. Monarch Kosher Salt
- .5 tsp. Monarch Black Pepper
PREPARATION
- Preheat fryer to 350°F.
- Coat frozen green chickpeas in corn starch, shake off any excess.
- Fry chickpeas for 45 seconds to 1 minute, or until crispy.
- Remove from fryer and season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish salads or flatbread, or serve as an appetizer.
