With our Hibiscus Infused Fruit Blend, we set out to create a visually stunning, versatile and delicious ready-to-use mixture that starts with fresh fruit. One that can be enjoyed just as easily on its own, as well as lending itself to beverage menus, or even cooked into dishes across different dayparts. To do this, we paired our fruit with hibiscus, a unique color to stand out on menus. Hibiscus has a subtly sweet and tart flavor profile and vibrant deep red color that pairs exceptionally well with fruit – and is the signature flavor in this blend of apples, pineapples, oranges and mangoes. We then infused our mixture in a solution made with hibiscus flower powder to give a distinct deep red color and floral flavor. Our entire product is usable – both the delicious fruit and the sweet and colorful hibiscus flower-infused liquid – and is perfect to use as an ingredient in a signature chutney or compote, a colorful spin on fruit salsas, or to take to the bar for signature mocktails, cocktails and a fruity addition to teas.
