- Add frozen gnocchi into boiling, lightly salted water. Cook at a simmer. In about 2 minutes, as the pieces cook, they will float to the top; remove immediately with a slotted spoon. Cook until reaching a minimum internal temperature of 165°F for at least 15 seconds. Serve with your favorite sauce, or with plain butter or grated cheese.
