Executive Vice President, Strategy
David Schreibman is the Executive Vice President, Strategy, US Foods, responsible for strategic planning, operational strategies and all merger and acquisition activity at the Company. David began his involvement with the Company in early 2004 as a consultant where his engagement was focused principally on USF’s procurement activities. He subsequently joined the Company in November 2005 in the role of Senior Vice President, Business Development.
Prior to this time, David was with private equity-owned Specialty Foods Corporation where he served as Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel.
From 1995 to 1998, David was the Chief Counsel – Mergers and Acquisitions for Sara Lee Corporation, accountable for the legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures on a worldwide basis. David began his career as an associate with the Chicago office of Sidley & Austin, practicing in the area of corporate and securities law.
David graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, and received his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin. He serves on the board of directors of the International Foodservice Distributors Association and the Gastro-Intestinal Research Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the clinical and laboratory research for the Gastroenterology Section of the University of Chicago Medical Center.
